Albanvale Kindergarten offers two 4 year old groups
Here at Albanvale Kindergarten, the kindergarten year is seen as an essential part of a child’s early development and learning. The children engage in a variety of experiences that are self directed by the child and are play based. We believe that children develop skills and knowledge and an understanding of their world through self directed and self initiated play. The skills that children learn at kindergarten, they will continue to build on throughout their lives.

At kindergarten we cater for the individual needs and interests of each child, allowing them to learn at their own pace. Our goal is for the children to feel proud of their achievements, promoting self- confidence and independence. We encourage the children to be inquisitive learners to confidently attempt new experiences, learn from past experiences, problem solve and attempt challenges.

We believe that every child is unique, with their own individual strengths, needs and interests. We aim to foster the children’s language, social, emotional, cognitive and physical development, through individual developmentally appropriate programs. We embrace the cultural diversity of the children and their families, which is positively reflected in the program.
