North Sunshine Kindergarten offers two 4 year old groups.

At North Sunshine kindergarten our aims are to provide children with an environment:

That provides a holistic, play based program based on current theory and research that is stimulating open ended and ever changing and evolving.
That supports children’s social and emotional development in an attempt to promote a positive self esteem, an ability to form relationships with peers and adults, to share, turn take, negotiate and resolve conflict.
That values every child’s unique family story and supports children from all backgrounds.
That strongly encourages family to maintain their first language and to take pride in their culture.
That believes in the importance of the natural environment in the lives of children ands offers indoor/outdoor programming giving children the space and freedom to explore and learn.
That supports and integrates children and with additional needs.

That understands the importance of early intervention for children who have additional needs and works closely with support services to help access support for these children and their families.
